We got the vegan curry, chicken curry, and the jerk chicken wings. All of the food was amazing, especially the jerk chicken. More importantly than the food: our server Eddie. Extremely knowledgeable about the food, recommended different hot sauces to go with the food based on what we got. Funny, stories from his childhood. Awesome experience

Ordered takeout here, sooo delicious. Portions are generous and the food is excellent. I'm especially happy that the vegetarian options are filling and full of flavor, not lazily put together by any means. The staff was very friendly. Definitely returning for more! Update: I once had this at 5-stars, but today I was charged $4 for substituting a side with an extra portion of another side that already came with the meal. I was not made aware of this and I did not realize I was charged $15 dollars for the meal until I got home. Sorry, but charging the full price of a side order for a substitute makes no sense. You guys just had me pay you to give me less food. In hindsight, I could have been more clear, but I would expect to be made more aware of an extra charge...especially if the charge would give me less in return.

I have no pretense of being a food critic or judging the authenticity of a dish. I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed my large plate of Curry Chicken, Rice with Black Beans and Cabbage. The Curry Chicken was a standout with deep rich flavor and a steady build to the kick from the seasoning. I hope this is what authentic Jamaican food tastes like, as it only adds to my many reasons to visit the island. But, I frankly wouldn't care if you told me it was veritable to Lithuania. I'll go back to eat more, because it tastes so good!

This place has extremely rich and flavorful food. It is a one of a kind and I absolutely love it! It has become a staple of Gainesville and it's quite hard to find Jamaican cuisine of the same quality. Their jerk is a hard hitter and not meant for those who don't like the heat. My only issue with the place is that service could be better in many ways, but perhaps that has improved since I've been there.

I love the variety and taste of the food, but it often times varies in quality every other day and is never quite consistent when I go. Sometimes the chicken is tender but other times it's rough and rubbery. It might sound minute, but this change in texture is noticeable throughout many items on the menu.
